Actual build sequence
VS. VIN sequence service for 1970 Hamtramck cars.
As my research into the actual
build sequence versus the VIN sequence for 1970 Hamtramck
cars continues, several folks have expressed an interest
in knowing about how far out of VIN sequence their car was
actually made. So with that in mind, here is what I need
from you;
A clear scan of your broadcast sheet in COLOR. It must also
be in .jpg format, no exceptions, they are easier for me
to use than any other format. Aim for about 1mb (or larger)
in size also, my eyes are not as good as they used to be.
Please include a photo of your original Mylar door sticker
as well if you have it.
Hopefully your sheet has the information in the top two
boxes on the left side intact, if not I can occasionally
figure out what digit is missing.
Email your image to me by clicking
here & let me know it is for this service.
Once I make sure the image is readable I will let you know
& you can send $5.00 via PayPal or snail mail. If you
do mail payment be sure to note your VIN on it so I can
find the image when I need it.
Once I have the clear color image with payment I will email
you with the closest three VINs I have both before &
after yours in build order. This will give you a general
idea of how the VINs were mixed up on the assembly line
in actual production. (if your car is very early or very
late, I may not have 3 ahead or behind it as the case may
be)
Please note that this is the ONLY service for which I am
currently accepting PayPal. I am using it as an experiment
to see how it goes.
