2022 was
off the charts for new registrations!
For the 1970 L.A. Registry,
207 new cars were recorded, more than from 2017 through
2021 combined!
For the 1970 Hamtramck Registry,
2,742 new cars were recorded, more than double from 2017
through 2021 combined!
It was an incredibly busy year
with a total of 2,949 new registry entries!
The new cars included a bit
of everything, including AARs, T/As, Western Sport Special
Challengers, quite a few more cars with the 3-speed manual
transmission, an incredible amount of Cuda 340s, cars with
seldom seen color combinations & a significant increase
in M46 optioned Barracudas also!
For the 1970 LA & Hamtramck
produced A body owners, the E-body owners are WAY ahead
of you in registrations! PLEASE register your Valiant 4-doors,
Dusters & Darts? (I am still hoping another 1970 Valiant
4-door with the D13 option shows up!)
The more people that register
& report items they have for other cars, the more reunions
for engines, transmissions, fender tags, broadcast sheets
& other paperwork will be possible!
2022 Highlights for me;
Helping a 1970 Hemi Cuda owner
get his fender tag back.
Sending out paperwork from the
found section to 7 more car owners.
The Carlisle show - It is always
good to visit with old friends & make new ones too.
Seeing another 1970 Barracuda
with the M46 option; first one I have seen at the Carlisle
show. I was able to view another one in December!
A visit to my home town to see
my mom.
Hopefully 2023 treats you all
well!
