January 2008 |
We had two more items claimed in December!
For our January item of the month we have another broadcast
sheet for a Plum Crazy 1970 Challenger with a 318 - JH23G0B299155
Note that this sheet has "CORRECTED COPY" in the remarks
section at the bottom of it. I would love to know if a copy
of the pre-correction broadcast sheet for this car was found
in it, I would love to compare them to see what exactly
needed correcting.
This particular sheet was found inside a bucket seat back
in a Challenger T/A and it was sent in by one of the Registry
members in Canada. Thanks Doug!
If you own this car, the broadcast sheet is yours for
free with proof of ownership and proof that the car still
exists.

February 2008 |
For our February item of the month we have a broadcast
sheet for a Panther Pink 1970 Challenger with a 318 - JH23G0B339227
If you own this car, the broadcast sheet is yours for free
with proof of ownership and proof that the car still exists.
Also, if you own any Panther Pink car or Moulin Rouge car,
you should know that for the 2008 Carlisle All-Chrysler
Nationals there will be a special display of FM3 Panther
Pink/Moulin Rouge Mopars. Building Y will be by invitation
only and will house 12-14 factory FM3 vehicles and we're
hoping to have a nice assortment that covers ALL body styles.
There will also be an outdoor area on the Fun Field that
will be open to ALL pink Mopars. This area is open to all
Mopars that are currently pink - these do not need to be
factory FM3 vehicles. Factory FM3 cars that are currently
another color are also welcome.
Please go to
for more information.

March 2008 |
Hello all,
We had two more items claimed in February!
The month of March marks the 4th Anniversary of this website,
thanks to everyone for looking and all the support, donations
and kind comments along the way.
For our March item of the month we have another broadcast
sheet, this one if for a Plum Crazy 1970 Challenger R/T
with a 383. The VIN is JS23N0B377953
Note that this sheet is the apparent victim of a printer
mis-feed, all the printed text is about one inch too high;
This particular sheet was found inside a bucket seat back
in another Challenger, thanks go out to Bruce for sending
it in!
If you own this car, the broadcast sheet is yours for free
with proof of ownership and proof that the car still exists.

April 2008 |
Hello all, we had two broadcast sheets claimed during March.
Thanks to Larry and Allen, two more Challenger T/A owners
now have broadcast sheets for their cars. :-)
For April we actually have two items of the month, including
one item that I have never seen before, it is a "Notice
of shortage and / or error - new vehicle shipments"
form. For this particular 1970 Hemi Challenger R/T, it was
delivered to the dealership without the 426 Hemi emblems.
The VIN is JS23R0B232237
There is also a cover letter from the dealership to Chrysler
concerning the parts shortage. If you own this car, both
items are yours for free with proof of ownership and proof
that the car still exists.

Updated 4-30-2010
Well,
it took almost two years to the day, but this paperwork
was just claimed! The owner did find a broadcast sheet for
another Challenger A93 Coupe in her car, I have asked her
to send it in. This is the second of our IOTMs to be claimed,
hopefully there will be more as time goes on!
-------------------------------------
We had two more items claimed last month. Yahoo!
The Coupe was a mid-year introduction for the Challenger
line in 1970, it continued through 1971. The group code
for these cars was A93. The A93 package was introduced for
the Challenger on February 25th, 1970 with production beginning
in early March of 1970. The A93 package was available in
the Barracuda line also, the earliest A93 car I have seen
( so far ) is a Challenger, it has a scheduled production
date of March 13, 1970.
If you have an A93 car scheduled the same day, or earlier,
please let me know?
For our May item of the month we have a broadcast sheet
& several other papers for a Plum Crazy 1970 Challenger
Coupe, the VIN is JH23B0B440325
If you own this car, all the paperwork I have for it is
yours for free with proof of ownership and proof that the
car still exists. (it has been on Ebay twice in recent years)

For our June item of the month we have a broadcast sheet
for a Plum Crazy 1970 Challenger T/A, the VIN is JH23J0B285523.
I found this sheet myself in a front bucket seat of another
Challenger T/A in Alexandria Virginia shortly after the
Carlisle show in 2002. Thanks once again to Tom K. for letting
me look inside his bucket seats!
If you own this car, the broadcast sheet is yours for free
with proof of ownership and proof that the car still exists.
There are currently 1307 Challenger T/As in the Registry,
Plum Crazy is the most common Challenger T/A color so far
for recorded examples.

Updated 8-21-2008
Whooo-hoo! While we have had 65 items
claimed from the "found" section since we started
this website, none of our "Items of the Month" have
been claimed...
Until today.
I am quite happy to report that this item (the 66th
one now) has been claimed, and it will be mailed to
the owner of the car in the morning.
Thanks again to Tom Race and all the others that have
sent items in and helped in other ways along the way.
Thanks! Barry

For our August item of the month we have a factory invoice
as well as the actual sales invoice for a 1970 Challenger
R/T convertible with the 440- sixpack. This car sold new
from the L. L. Richardson Dodge Dealership in Dallas, PA.
The VIN is JS27V0B152616 If you own this car, the records
are yours for free with proof the car still exists and proof
of legal ownership.
These two records and hundreds more from this dealership
were donated by Tom Race at R/T Specialties. The cars range
from 1932 through 1974 models, and they include Desotos,
Plymouths, Chryslers and Dodge trucks.
I will be adding all the VINs to the "found"
section just as soon as I can. There are hundreds of pages,
some cars have only one page, while some cars that were
sold new, traded back in later and then sold again as used
cars have up to six pages. The records for all the 1968
- 1974 cars were added to the found section last night,
the rest will follow as soon as I can finish sorting them
and adding them to the database.
Tom,
For all of us, thank you very much!

Chrysler - Plymouth in Willoughby OH. The VIN on this Vitamin-C
shaker hood car is BS23V0B217805

October 2008 |
Hello all,
Sadly, we did not have any items claimed last month.
All of the VIN numbers on the dealership records for 1930
-1939 vintage Chryslers, Desotos, Plymouths, Dodge cars
& Dodge trucks that Tom Race at R/T Specialties donated
to the cause have now been loaded up into the found section.
So, to highlight a new (old) era for us, our new "Item
of The Month" is for the record of the very oldest
car we currently have here available to claim.
It is a 1932 Desoto Sedan, the VIN on it is 5050020, this
car sold used from the L. L. Richardson dealership in Dallas,
PA in 1951.
If you own this car, the dealership invoice is yours for
free with proof the car still exists & proof of legal
ownership.
If you own a different car from the 1930's - please check
the "found" section for your VIN number now by
clicking here.

November 2008 |
Hello all, for our November found item of
the month, we have a broadcast sheet for a 1970 Challenger
with the 383 four barrel engine. The VIN is JH23N0B171597
. This car was built for Canadian sale, so if you own a
dark green Challenger in Canada (or from Canada) you may
want to check your VIN.
Best of luck!

December 2008 |
Hello all,
Our "found" section now has over 5000 items waiting
to be claimed. I have been getting a lot of letters, phone
calls & emails asking me specifically if I have something
for a certain car. The truth is, if you do not see it listed
on the site then I do not have anything for it. Please check
the list before contacting me & save both of us some
time. I list everything as it comes in & I have the
time to do it. All the specific requests for items not listed
are slowing the whole process down. ;-)
For our December item of the month we have a broadcast
sheet for a 1970 Challenger with a slant six - JH23C0B108330
It is coded for a 3-speed transmission, white paint with
red interior. If you own this car the broadcast sheet is
yours for free with proof of legal ownership and proof that
the car still exists.
Happy Holidays from the entire HH staff!
