January 2016 |
The December IOTM was our DONATE
button & three people used it. Donations for the month
totaled $30.00. Brad, James & John, thank you!
We also had another item claimed
from our Found
section!
Five more original records
were just added to the found section as well. All are for
1970 Dodge Darts & one of them is rather unusual, so
I have chosen it for our first Item of the month for 2016.
It is for a 1970 Dart produced at the Hamtramck plant which
is rather unusual. It is only the second one from there
that I have ever heard of, the VIN is LH23G0B114161.
The VIN appears on two pages,
one of which is a certified inventory list from the Clayton
Amerman Inc. dealership in NJ to Chrysler. As always, this
record is free to the current owner of the car with proof
of legal ownership.
If anyone else knows of ANY
1970 Dart produced at the Hamtramck plant, please let me
know?

I love cool mail! No items were
claimed last month, but five new items arrived today from
Canada, just in time for one of them to be selected as IOTM.
So, our item for this month
is a broadcast sheet for a 1971 Challenger with a 340, the
VIN on it is JH23H1B300042 - As always, proof of legal ownership
& proof the car still exists will be required to claim
this sheet. Thanks to the anonymous person that sent them
in as well!
All five broadcast sheets
have been added to the Found
section here, so happy hunting.
To all the Mopar ladies out
there, have a Hammy Valentine's Day!

July 2016 |
We had another item claimed
in June!
Our item for July actually came
in via the HH
Upholstery Shop in a set of 1970 Challenger bucket seats
that had been in storage for over 20 years! This broadcast
sheet is for a 1970 Challenger R/T SE, the VIN is - JS29N0B440218
& this car has a very cool color & trim combination, the
only one like it that I have seen so far. Cream paint, green
side stripes & Gator top with the green cloth interior.

ownership & proof the car still exists will be required

August 2016 |
We had another item claimed
in July!
14 broadcast sheets were turned
in at Carlisle, they are listed in the 'found' section now.
Thanks Dennis & Ron!
Al also turned in a binder of
old DeSoto invoices & a whole box of dealership records,
so I will be adding those as they are sorted & time
allows.
Our item for August was turned
in by Ron & while it is badly damaged by mice, it is
a great historical find! While the entire VIN portion is
missing, the VON is there & there is enough data present
to confirm that this sheet is for a special order 999 paint
Challenger T/A! The VIN should be in the JH23J0B305xxx range
& the vehicle order number survived, so if you have
a 999 paint T/A please confirm your order number with me
to see it is it a match!
As always, proof of legal
ownership & proof the car still exists will be required
to claim this item.

46 more items were added to
the 'found' section last month & another item was claimed!
Our IOTM for September is a broadcast

car was for sale on Ebay back in June of 2006 as a "ready
for paint" project car, so if you own it now, please contact
me!
Chet found this sheet in his
AAR Cuda along with a matching one for his car, the VINs
are over 1700 apart & the scheduled production dates are
3 days apart but the actual builds were started only 14
apart!
Thanks for sending it in Chet!
As always, proof of legal ownership
& proof the car still exists will be required to claim
this item.
